ink-its-art:

  • I feel annoying.
  • I feel like you might not want to talk.
  • I feel unwanted when you don’t reply.
  • It normally turns awkward and fades out.

However

  • If you talk to me first and make attempts to keep conversation going you are a holy being in my mind.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it. - Groucho Marx

Why does my happiness depend on your attention?

The best thing about this show is how much they love each other as a family. These kids are little hellions and make Bob’s life way more difficult than necessary. But he loves the shit out of them. Bob and Linda have a good marriage, the siblings all have a good relationship with each other, and they all have a good relationship with their parents. They’re poor and the kids have to work in the family restaurant to make ends meet, but they don’t resent doing so. It’s all somehow rare to see in a comedy show, particularly an animated one. It feels a lot more real, and therefore endearing, than other shows of that ilk.
